Ray Tracing Constrained Implicits

My newest picture is of a shiny bunny:


Notice the reflections of the bunny in the spheres and vice versa. Also I've put in an environment map on the bunny. It took about 15.5 minutes to render.

Here are two pictures I made of a constraint based implicit surface.  The bunny is represented by 800 oriented constraint points.
 
 

Front Back

The images are 256 by 256.  It took about 8 minutes per image on my dual processor 800 Mhz PIII Linux box.

Here's is the original 800 vertex bunny model:

So you can see that we get a very smooth, nice picture from what was originally a very faceted model.
 

This next picture is of the bunny shaded by Gaussian curvature.

The ray tracer is based on John Hart & Sean Jenkin's Zeno.
